Identical in gearing to the previously posted unit, and leaving me only the heavy weapon teams to finish now.
The grunts, lots of grenades on show, ironic really as I always forget them and what they do.
The Sergeant, all business.
This vox operator has a bayonet fixed, he’s a pessimist you see and expects at all times to be charges in CC by something akin to a world eater.
Corporal with designated marksman rifle. Just cos the rules don't have them, doesn't mean I cant model it :)
Grenadier Statton, not saying he's a bad shot, but usually he’s ordered to fire frag. at distant targets.
The anti tank team, with Loader.
Magnetised loader, so he can disappear, and reappear at till. usually the enemies will, but still.
Very nicely done. Like how the Sgt has a gold trim to his tunic.
ReplyDeleteThanks for noticing chap :)
DeleteVery nice. I have always shied away from the grenade throwing arm because I couldn't really suss out a good angle for it. Looks good here though!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it can look goofy, but if you use the right legs it can look decently natural*
Delete*well, for a guy whose head is the proportion of a two year old anyway.
Awesome work, man - those really look sharp!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mord, I just need to finish the heavies then take a group shot of the whole platoon.
DeleteTa.
ReplyDeleteAnother great squad. You've really nailed down the colors and technique. I'm really liking how you do the scatter and grasses on the bases. Interesting, but doesn't take away from the models.
